Jacqueline de Ribes: The Art of Style, which runs from November 18, 2015 to February 21, 2016 features 60 ensembles; everything from haute couture to pret-a-porter that runs from the 60s to now. Everything is from her own archives. Jacqueline de Ribes was an original; she thought of nothing when cutting up haute couture ballgowns to create fancy dress creations for costume balls.
More than a socialite or a muse for designers, Jacqueline de Ribes immersed herself in the world of fashion and oversaw her own design business from 1982 to 1995.
The exhibit also contains ephemera, videos and photographs. To learn more about the exhibit and the museum, please visit their site.
