Is Joico’s Moisture Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner the answer to damaged hair dreams?
-PJ Gach
Dry, damaged hair can make a sane woman think about shaving her head. Whether it’s from coloring or bleaching your locks, over-using flat irons, blow dryers, curling irons or even hot rollers, every time you do something to your hair, you’re leaching out moisture.
Beauty Product Review: Nyx Cosmetics Roll On Eye Shimmer
There are tons of products out there that promise to take hair from desiccated to lush, but how many of them deliver? I’ve been trying out Joico’s Moisture Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner for awhile now and I’m amazed at the results.
My hair is curly, wavy and straight. Yes, one person can have three different types of curl patterns on one head. Curly and wavy hair is naturally drier than straight hair. I also color it and highlight it (did you think I was a natural blonde?), then to top off the madness, I’ll either use a blow dryer or a flat iron. Sometimes I’ll use both on my hair. What does that do to my hair? Make it so frizzy it could replace a clown wig.
When I use Joico’s Joico’s Moisture Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner, I can let my hair air dry and I have soft, manageable, frizz free hair. I don't need a leave-in conditioner. And let me say it again, FRIZZ FREE hair. Yes, it does work.
How does it work? The shampoo contains bio-mimetic peptides, marine botanicals and seawater nutrients to actually put moisture in and heal your hair. The conditioner, you can leave it on for a minute (just one minute) and those marine botanicals, brown algae and sea kelp continue to feed your hair.
The Joico Mosisture Recovery Shampoo is $13.99, SRP and the Joico Moisture Recovery Conditioner is $15.99. The products are only sold in salons. Use their online Salon Locator to find one near you.
