Tall women need fitness exercises and workouts that are specifically designed for their needs
Tall women, that is women who are 5’8 and taller need to approach working out a bit differently than shorter women. Their center of gravity is different than shorter women. They have “tall hot spots,” or areas where tall women should approach working out that spot differently than shorter women. Long Tall Sally, is an e-commerce and brick and mortar destination for tall women. They don’t just create clothing for tall women, yes, they’ve gotten rave reviews for their TTYA collaboration. Jordan Dunn and Karlie Kloss have been spotted wearing LTS during London and Paris Fashion Week.
LTS also promotes women’s health and the unique challenges that tall women face when exercising. They’ve created the “Taller and Stronger” campaign. The first ever online fitness destination for tall women. Visit it here. Their research found that 63% of tall women slouch (stop that you gorgeous creature!) and 76% of tall women experience back pain.
When you visit their Taller and Stronger campaign, you’ll find gym hacks, inspiration from tall athletes the world over, healthy eating information and more. It’s chock full of advice and guidance. And well-fitting workout wear too.
LTS’s YouTube page has core exercises and more. Visit their YouTube workout page here. Exercises are broken down for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of workout practitioners. Meet the teachers.
