Lucky Brand’s newest scent is as gorgeous as its bottle.
Looking for a new fragrance to add to your scent wardrobe? Do you need to find a gift for someone on your list? Is that someone, or you, a bit more sparkly than the rest? Then check out Lucky Brand’s new fragrance, Lucky Darling.
Perfumer Laurent Le Guernec, who has won 8 Fifi awards and a master of green and floral scents, teamed up with perfumer Ann Flipo to create a fragrance unlike anything on the market. The duo was inspired by the glamour of Hollywood. Their Lucky Darling is a starlet on the rise; A chic and effervescent young woman whose appearance and heart turns heads.
This fruity floral fragrance is like your favorite necklace; you can wear it with anything in your closet. According to Laurent during the launch breakfast, “The fruit brings sparkle to the fragrance and the color of the glass bottle was inspired by the color of the florals in the scent.”
When I sniffed the scent at the breakfast launch, my immediate reaction was that it was a lively, bubbly scent. It starts out with a pop of ginger, mandarin oranges and red currant. As it settles into your skin, that’s when the florals emerge: Pink Peony, Wisteria and Orange flower. After a period of time the base notes appeared: I then smelt deep seductive musk, vetiver and Massoia wood.
The fragrance (.33 edp rollerball $25, 1.7 edp $55, 3.4 fl $69) is available at Lucky Brand stores nationwide and online. Starting in January, you’ll be able to pick it up at Macy’s counters nationwide.
