Some people dress in costume for Halloween, I'm going to the gym!
Happy Halloween everyone! This is NOT my Halloween costume, it's what I'm wearing to the gym today. I figured the Mighty Fine Ghostbusters tee is the perfect shirt to wear today. It's going to keep me in a good mood while I'm on the (URGH) stationary bike.
It's midway through my first month of losing weight and getting fit. I've changed up my exercise routine a bit. For the first three weeks I was just working out on the treadmill. I had gotten up to 45 minutes on it at a low speed (2.5 to 2.8). Now I'm doing the treadmill for 40 minutes at a steady incline at 3.0 speed and then I wobble over to the stationary bike for 10 minutes.
Both of my knees are blown, so I'm really conscious of not doing anything to hurt them. I tried a higher resistance on the bike the first day and saw flames.
I'm not taking any measurements today. I haven't felt anything different in my body yet, but I know that change, while slow, is coming.
