Last night Argo won another award--take that Oscars! Modern Family won for the third time in a row and Daniel Day Lewis, Tina Fey and Jennifer Lawrence won awards too, yippee! You really don't want to know who won what, you want to know who wore it best, so let's get to it!
Nina Dobrev
The night was a sea of black and blue gowns, so Nina Dobrev's shocking pink gown by Elie Saab seriously stood out. In a very good way. Modern, sleek and elegant. Her platinum jewelry by Neil Lane echoed the clean lines of the gown.
Jennifer Lawrence
During her acceptance speech, Jennifer Lawrence thanked MTV. When she was 14 she filmed a My Super Sweet 16 promo for them and got her SAG card. Thanks MTV! JLaw (don't ever call her that!) was sick with pneumonia, yet looks stunning in a navy Christian Dior Haute Couture gown. She accessorized with a platinum and diamond necklace from Chopard.
Amanda Seyfried
Another dazzling blue gown, this one by Zac Posen looked spectacular on her. Love the bottom of it. Adore the swinging platinum, diamond, lavendar jade necklace and diamond stud earrings by Lorraine Schwartz too.
Jessica Chastain
Zero Dark Thirty star Jessica Chastain looked like a sultry vixen in her red McQueen gown and Splash diamond necklace by Harry Winston. Her lippie was YSL Rouge Volupte shine in Danger.
Jennifer Garner
She rivals the glow of the award! Jennifer Garner shows off her rockin' bod in a figure hugging gown by Oscar de la Renta. Can't believe she's a mom of three!
Claire Danes
Speaking of yummy mummies, check out how glorious Claire Danes looks in this Givenchy gown. When she picked up her award, she revealed her secret, "As a brand
spankin'...or Spanx-ing new mom..." Off topic--have you tried Spanx? I just filmed a video and I wouldn't go on camera without mine. Loved how her Neil Lane jewels gave her that extra sparkle.
Nicole Kidman
Can someone please explain to me why Nicole Kidman was speaking slowly? I thought English was her first language. Despite that, she did look marvelous. Tweets abounded about the dress! And what a dress it was! Vivienne Westwood cleverly combined navy and black, embroidery and applique. It's sexy, not twee.
Ellie Kemper
I love people who buck a trend and look great. The Office's Ellie Kemper is minty fresh in a romantic gown by Reem Acra and platinum jewels by Neil Lane.
